Getting Hootorama

Hootorama is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone and iPad (iOS 17 or later).

Starting a family game

Everyone opens Hootorama on their own iPhone or iPad, in the same room.
Tap Family game, then type a first name and pick a color.
One person taps Host. Everyone else taps Join and picks the host's game.
The host picks Trivia, Doodle or Word Scramble and starts.

Can't find the host's game?

Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on every device. You don't need to be on the same network.
If iOS asked to find devices on your local network and someone tapped Don't Allow, open Settings, find Hootorama, and turn on Local Network.
Keep Hootorama open on every screen while you join.

Removing ads

Tap Remove Ads in the app. It is a one-time purchase, and everyone in your Apple Family Sharing group gets it too. On a new device, tap Restore purchases.
